Mopar and Dodge Announce Return of "Road Ready" Defensive Driving Program

Yesterday, Mopar and Dodge brand announced that the "Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge" defensive driving program for teens is returning for a second year. Five two-day events will take place in New Jersey, Michigan, Florida, and Indiana. Last year, the program served more than 1,300 teens and parents.

“The Dodge brand wants all drivers to experience that visceral feeling that makes them fall in love with driving, and that includes making sure they feel comfortable in all driving situations,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “The ‘Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge’ program gives new teen drivers the opportunity to learn important driving skills, gain valuable experience behind the wheel and fall in love with driving in the process.”

The advanced driving program is open to teens ages 15-19 with a valid license or permit. Using both classroom education and behind the wheel training, high-caliber instructors will provide comprehensive coverage of everything from proper seat positioning to slalom and wet skid pad training.

The free program requires a $99 dollar deposit that will be returned after the session, or may be donated to the National Hot Rod Associations B.R.A.K.E.S. non-profit organization.
