Some of the most notable cars of the past featured some crazy paint colors, like Plum Crazy purple and Sublime green. Dodge is looking to revive an old classic of its own in the name of nostalgia. The Dodge Challenger already features the classic styling of the 1970 model and now it's getting the paint job to go along with it. The Go Mango paint color is back and the Challenger isn’t the only model to get the bright color.

The Go Mango paint job joins the growing list of heritage-inspired exterior colors. Plum Crazy, B5 Blue, and Sublime are all available on the Dodge Challenger and Charger muscle cars. The high-impact color does more than just bring back the memories of older drivers, though.

"Powerful performance cars like our Dodge Charger and Challenger demand high-impact colors," said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands for FCA North America. "Dodge muscle cars have a long history of unique paint colors with iconic names, and we'll continue to reach back into our paint code archive to give our enthusiast customers what they want."

Previously available on the 1970 Challenger, a limited production 2006 Challenger, and the current Dodge Dart, Go Mango is now exclusively available on the SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat models of the Charger and Challenger.

Best of all, it's available at no extra charge.

We here at Blackburn Motors are pumped to see what else Dodge brings out of storage!
